02/07/2007 There is a NEW patch for 1946. Wait till I check for bugs before downloading.

1/26/2007 I have available 1946 for download. Please wait for install until the greatest majority of the squadron gets the update. The update is the ONLY one in existence on the internet to my knowledge to MERGE our previous game short of either buying 1946 or downloading 4 GB. This install is under 400 MB. Currently we have an IL2 and 1946 server running. Ask me for details.

11/29/2006 I reloaded our new IL2 Russian map with ALL aircraft including those that do not have panels. I noticed that the Do-335A-0 was missing on our last map so I reconfigured our server to allow it to work. If you notice any planes MISSING let me know and I can ADD them to the server with minimal work ASAP.

If there are ANY scenery object addition requests to our current map and it is possible to do within reason, I will add them on a first come first serve basis.

I am also going to be experimenting with paint schemes this month by including a few of them in the server files. Only approved skins will be included in our server files, but you may still use your own skins for own use. I think including the paint schemes on the server may download them better for everyone, but I am still not sure yet.

07/16/06 My computer is finally working great. I will be out of town traveling once again from 07/17 thru 7/27. Captain Goodman is still in charge in my absence.

6/29/06 - Well, looks like we are going to be conducting another training day. Get ready for training pilots! because we are going to be covering some navigation training, combat and accuracy training, and last but not least coordination in flight using the rudder and ailerons. This will take place on Tuesday at 10:00 Pacific time. Good Flying! Capt. Goodman

6/21/06 - In rapid pace the laptop is back and seems to be working PERFECT at the moment. I won't know if the laptop is working great until I reinstall my games. I will be online until June 29th now. See you all soon. Col

6/19/2006 - The laptop saga continues. I am sending laptop back to factory once again today. (5-8 day repair timeframe). I will also be going on vacation from June 30th till July 11th. I will try to get on at various other locations periodically if possible.

Captain Goodman of my senior staff will be in charge of the SWN and teamspeak in my absence. He has total authority to act in any capacity on any SWN matter. I expect all of you to afford him the same respect as you would afford to me if I was here. I hope to be back playing with all of you very soon.

06/09/2006 - The problems with my laptop go far beyond a video card replacement and/or bad video card replacement. I suspect a motherboard replacement is the only solution. :( I am shipping my laptop back to Dell today, so it will be 5 days most likely before I'm on Teamspeak again. I will try to get on at other locations periodically if possible. Captain Goodman will be in charge of training if he is available. As always I expect nothing but the utmost respect and behavior from EACH OF YOU during my absence. I hope to be back playing with all of you very soon.

01/23/06 Our NEW 24 Hour/7Day MICROSOFT FLIGHT SIMULATOR 2004 SERVER is here. Please have fun hoping around on the Around-the-World Expedition in your favorite plane. The entire route is pre-planned out in advance for you. Just open the Flight Simulator and join the multiplayer session on 12.205.130.12. Please don’t forget to take screenshots.
